Jehu (pronounced jay-hoo) is our Livestock Guardian Dog. He is an Anatolian/Great Pyrenees cross. He joined us at the farm at the age of 6 weeks and has been on duty ever since. He is a big sweetheart to all that are not perceived as predators to his beloved goats or the occasional chicken that happens to escape from their yard. He enjoys meeting all the visitors to the farm, especially if they happen to bring a dog biscuit. He will only visit through the fence as he will not leave the goats for any reason.

Jackie – well Jackie doesn’t guard much of anything – she is Annette’s constant shadow. She loves people, playing ball and treats. She is a medium sized mixed breed we rescued in 2012 who has totally stolen our hearts. She doesn’t mind very well or either we have a language barrier. . . often when we give her commands she has a special look she gives that seems to say: “no hable”.
